It has always been my experience that if you display it, it will sell. I am a chronic display artist. I can’t sit in my house and look at my fireplace mantel full of books, frames and sentimental objects, without twitching at any lack of balance or flow. I am the nester of all nesters and this has always served me well.

I arranged and rearranged stores on Rodeo Drive, and was fortunate enough in my twenties to become the head fashion stylist and merchandiser for the most profitable store on Rodeo Drive at the time. I was sent to Milan, Italy for inspiration. My mind was trained to think in themes. I created original window displays that rotated between Rodeo Drive, Trump Tower in New York, The Crescent in Dallas and South Coast Plaza in Newport Beach. In New York the unveiling of my displays would be eagerly anticipated and there would be a line at the bottom of the escalator of people waiting to see it.

I started my own display and merchandising company, Creative Solutions, and for 9 years was hired as a subcontractor for MCA Universal Studios. From the reputaion and relationship I gained there I wnet on to design MCA’s 2 stores for the opening of City Walk. I was hired by the LA Dodgers and a large Las Vegas Casino to present their retail stores. I have created gift baskets over the years for various clients including Aron Spelling, MCA’s president Lew Wasserman and Movie Production companies. I have created gift presentations for President Clinton (when he was acting President), Jerry Seinfeld, Johnny Depp, and many others.

I took several years off to raise my children. During this time my creative juices were channeled into decorating my homes. It was during this time that my interests started leaning toward residential design. I still do the occasional Commercial job. Last year I designed Sweet Butter Kitchen in Sherman Oaks.

I am currently working on my next project, my own store, with my partner Kaylan Hill. Ash & Ivy Home will be an inspired home furnishings store offering full decorating services, beautiful furniture, accessories and gifts. Investment opportunities are available.
